T.I. and Trey Songz have joined forces once again to collaborate on T.I.’s track “Trouble Man.”
The song is the title track for T.I.’s new album, marking their latest collaboration since working on T.I.’s “F**k Da City Up” mixtape track “Oh Yeah.” Said T.I. (real name: Clifford Joseph Harris) of the track, which was written and produced by Rico Love: “It’s just a really, really strong club anthem.”
The Atlanta rapper shared the album’s progress with MTV News soon after the December release of the mixtape, explaining: “The album is about 75 percent done. We got a lot of hot, old-school, vintage T.I. records on there. I’m talking like gutter, gangsta, intellectual ignorance, hard-core stadium s**t, but at the same time we got those over-the-top crossover records as well, big features and whatnot that we plan on putting into play.”
“Trouble Man” is slated for release early in the year.
